ADAPTIVE RIDING
The Adaptive Riding programs are designed for clients with physical or cognitive disabilities and use the outdoor spaces, the Wellness Clinic and of course, the horses.
Using horses for physical therapy has been used for decades because of their many healing qualities. Horses that have big gaits will create a bi lateral movement that is crucial when strengthening the core, legs or arms of a rider with disabilities. Horses also are great motivators and can help relieve stress and form bonds with their riders. All sessions include a PATH or Herdmanship certified instructor, and a team of volunteers as horse leaders and side walkers.
The Ranch also features a Sure Hands Lift for riders with disabilities.

SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE DAYS!
The Performance Showcase is a celebratory, skill-based experience where students demonstrate what they have learned through their riding and horsemanship journey. Participants have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a variety of categories—such as groundwork, patterns, trail skills, artistic expression, horsemanship, and partnership with the horse—and earn ribbons that recognize effort, growth, and achievement at their individual level. The showcase is designed to be encouraging and inclusive, emphasizing confidence, sportsmanship, and personal progress rather than competition, while giving students a meaningful goal to work toward and a moment to be proud of their accomplishments.
