Ranch Facilities

Bit of Hope is a CHA, Certified Horseman’s Association, Site Accredited to ensure the safety of horse and human.  The Ranch is located on 50 acres of hardwood and pasture land.  The facilities include 2 barns, 2 covered riding arenas and a large grass arena.  The Nature Quest Discovery Trails includes 3 miles of wooded trails, a low ropes trail, a large pond with gazebo, a 50' inflatable jump pillow and a 20' tall inflatable dry/wet slide!  A Tribal Trail (Sensory Trail) offers clients challenges and learning stations while on horseback and foot.

Covered outdoor spaces

The Ranch has two covered arenas as well as a large open arena that is used for sessions, lessons and rentals.   This allows us to continue therapy without waiting on perfect weather.

Natural Play spaces

Clients can enjoy the miles of walking/sensory trails or the Natural Playground.  The playground wraps around a pond and has picnic tables, gazebos, climbing walls and play structures.  Groups can also enjoy the GaGa Ball Pit, the Kangaroo Jump Pillow or the tall wet/dry slide.

Indoor spaces

The Ranch has also included multiple climate controlled spaces inside of the barn to accommodate therapy and rentals.  There are also climate controlled restrooms on site.
