Horses As Heroes Fund
Our horses are our Ranch Heroes. They are often allowed inside of a hurting place where a human cannot go. These horses give a lot, but they also require a lot of care. Each horse eats 20 lbs of hay/grass/feed/day. Some of our herd are older or have come to us with chronic issues that require medication, herbs or supplements. To keep their feet comfortable and balanced, they are trimmed by a professional every 6 weeks and also are given yearly vaccinations by a vet. Other costs include medications for injuries, dewormers and tack (halters, ropes, etc.). You can help sponsor a horse monthly or yearly. Each horse requires $250/month to provide for its care.
