Meg Vanderbilt brings 30 years of experience as a horsewoman. Her training methods are solution focused with an emphasis on natural horsemanship methods. She brings decades of instructing, training and managing to offer the horses and animals the very best care. Meg also has a degree in Chemistry and Biology which she has used with her team to develop Cowboy Logic Educational Programs. She started her own art/mural business in 2004 and has continued to develop her business and leadership skills through the Ranch. “I know that God has taught me many things through my past experiences and that He intends for me to use to them to help other’s find a relationship with Him.”
Meg is an experienced riding coach and equine professional for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as well as Equine Assisted Learning. She is also a certified Christian Focused Equine Professional and brings a spiritual approach to sessions. She has founded the Herdmanship University, an online training program for equine assisted professionals.
In 2024, Meg also completed her training to become a Licensed Professional Mace Practitioner. This innovative form of non-disclosure therapy has made a huge impact in her life as well in the lives of others. Meg is the 6th practitioner in the USA and number one in N.C.!
Jane Weaver

Jane brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit world to her role as Development Director at Bit of Hope Ranch. Throughout her career she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Special Events Director, Executive Director, and Regional Director, giving her a deep understanding of building meaningful relationships and supporting mission-driven organizations.
At the ranch, Jane’s passion for the mission extends beyond her professional role. She continues to volunteer with the therapeutic riding program and has recently begun learning to ride herself. She is currently preparing to participate in the upcoming Horse Show next spring—an exciting new adventure in her journey with the ranch.
Outside of Bit of Hope, Jane has been an avid swimmer since childhood and feels most at home in the water.
Linda Paquette

Linda brings a heart for helping others and a wealth of experience in education and client care to her role as Client Communication Specialist. She holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has spent the past 15 years working in the field of education, where she developed a deep appreciation for supporting individuals and families.
In addition to her teaching background, Linda has experience as an office manager, with skills in scheduling, insurance verification and billing, and customer service. Outside of work, Linda enjoys spending time outdoors camping with her family and her golden retriever, Belle. At home, she also keeps busy with her playful Maine Coon cat, Ollie.
